The presentation will offer a current view of the cyber security challenges faced in the health care technology space and discuss real world attacks. It will also address “health care threat vectors” and the growth of the health care attack surface as a result of Internet of Things (IoT). As well, how artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) can help address health care cyber security challenges and ensure patient privacy is maintained.
Eric drives the strategy, vision, and architecture for BlackBerry’s products, ensuring the company remains on the cutting edge of security innovation. Prior to BlackBerry, Eric was the Chief Technology Officer at Cylance and has also served as a senior federal government executive in the United States for several years, most recently as Deputy Director and Chief Technical Analyst at the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
With a wealth of knowledge and long history as a security practitioner, consultant, trusted advisor and product builder, Eric has published numerous articles and papers and is a frequent speaker and instructor at security events and conferences across the globe.
