CHIMA event FAQ

After purchasing a virtual event pass, you can register for the individual sessions by clicking back on the virtual event pass product. You will receive an email prompting you to do so. Note that you must register for each session you wish to attend.

Follow the steps below after purchasing a product:

1. Sign in to Your CHIMA Account: Before proceeding with any actions, make sure you are signed into your account on the CHIMA website. You can do this by clicking here.

2. Access the Product Page: Once logged in, navigate to the event product.

3. Registration: Register for each session you wish to attend.

Disclaimer: Please be advised that session details may not be available at the time of purchase. We are actively working to finalize and update all session information, and any missing details will be added as soon as they are confirmed.

You will receive a link to the email address you submitted when registering for the event. Please check your junk/spam folder, as the email may have been delivered there.

For professional members to claim their CPE credits, they must be registered under their own account and join the event from their unique registration link.

In the event of a CPE audit, the team will review the event logs to verify if you attended. If you do not attend the virtual event through your unique link, your name will not be listed within the event attendee log.

To manually enter CPE credits, please follow the steps listed below:

1. Sign in to your CHIMA account using the button at the top right of the home page

2. You will be automatically redirected to your dashboard and will notice your name appear in the top right corner of the website, confirming that you are signed in

3. Scroll down within your dashboard and click on the “Manage” button under Canadian College of Health Information Management

4. Click on the “View” button under My CPE record

5. Scroll down and click on the “Enter credits manually” button This will bring you to a form where you can input your credit information.

Please use the ‘Thank you for attending’ email you receive from Zoom. There may be a delay in receiving this email. If you do not receive this email, you can use your registration email instead.
