The Gallup StrengthsFinder (now known as CliftonStrengths) questionnaire is a personality assessment designed to identify an individual’s top strengths or talents. Based on positive psychology principles, the assessment measures natural patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving, focusing on what individuals do best. It consists of 177 paired statements, and participants are required to choose the option that best describes them within a limited time frame.
The results highlight an individual’s top five strengths from a list of 34 talent themes, such as Analytical, Communication, or Empathy. These strengths are categorized into four domains: Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building, and Strategic Thinking. The CliftonStrengths results provide a personalized report detailing how to leverage these talents in personal and professional contexts to achieve better performance, improve productivity, and enhance collaboration.
